HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to care, designed for clarity

We've made this simple on purpose. Here's exactly what happens between your first visit to our site and your first day of care.

In many cases, care can start within 24 hours

What your free consultation looks like

Jessica walks through the consultation, start to finish.

Step 1: Build your plan

A 5-minute online tool that maps services to your situation. No commitment.

Not ready for the builder? The two-minute care-fit quiz is a lighter first step, and a phone call works just as well. All three lead to the same conversation.

  • What we ask

A few questions about who needs care, where they live, what kinds of help they need (personal care, companionship, transportation, overnight), and how often. We ask about routines, preferences, and any health context worth flagging.

  • What you get

A draft care plan with recommended services, a rough cadence, and the next step. You can review it, share it with family, and adjust. No payment, no pressure.

  • Why we built it this way

Most families wait too long because they're not sure where to start. The care plan tool gives you something concrete to react to, on your own time.

Step 2: Free consultation

A 30 to 60 minute call or in-home visit with our team. We confirm details and answer questions.

  • Who attends

Usually the person who will receive care plus one or two family members. Our care coordinator and Nurse Practitioner conduct the assessment together.

  • What we discuss

Your care plan in detail, scheduling, caregiver matching priorities (gender, language, personality), how communication will work, and what to expect on day one. We answer every question.

  • How long it takes

Phone consultations run about 30 minutes. In-home visits run 45 to 60. We don't rush. Bring a notepad if it helps.

Step 3: Care begins

Your matched caregiver starts on your schedule. Adjustments anytime.

  • Caregiver matching

We match based on the priorities you raised: experience with similar situations, scheduling fit, personality.

  • First day of care

We confirm routines, run through the home, and make sure everyone is comfortable. After the first visit, we review what worked and what didn't, and make adjustments if needed.

  • Ongoing communication

You get a direct line to your care coordinator. We check in proactively, and any changes, whether a caregiver swap, a schedule shift, or a scope adjustment, happen with conversation, not surprise.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROCESS

Common questions

  • How long does the care plan tool take?

About 5 minutes. You can save and come back. No login required.

  • Is the consultation really free?

Yes. There's no fee for the consultation, and you're under no obligation to start care after.

  • Can I have my doctor or family member on the consultation?

Yes. Anyone you want involved is welcome. We can also share a written summary afterward.

  • What if I'm not ready to start care yet?

That's fine. Many families build a plan months before they need care. We'll keep your plan on file so it's ready when you are.
