How quickly can in-home care start?
Care can begin within 24 hours of your initial call. We understand that care needs are often urgent, and our team moves quickly to assess your situation, match you with the right caregiver, and get support in place without unnecessary delays. Same-day consultations are available.
Is Jane’s Home Care licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes. Jane's Home Care is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the state of California. All caregivers are registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry, background-checked, and work under the direct clinical oversight of a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner.
Do you offer 24-hour or overnight care?
Yes. We provide 24-hour and overnight care seven days a week throughout the Fresno and Clovis area. Whether your loved one needs around-the-clock supervision or overnight support for safety and comfort, we have caregivers available to provide consistent, dependable care.
What areas does Jane’s Home Care serve?

What types of in-home care services do you offer?
We offer a full range of non-medical in-home care services including personal care and daily living support, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to appointments and errands, memory care support, transitional care following surgery or hospitalization, light housekeeping, overnight and 24-hour care, and one-on-one support for residents of independent living communities.
How much does in-home care cost in Fresno?
Our rates start at $39 per hour for extended visits of 8 hours or more. Standard care starts at $42 per hour with a 4-hour minimum. Short sessions are available starting at $48 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. Independent living community care starts at $45 per hour. What types of payment does Jane’s Home Care accept?
Jane's Home Care is a private pay agency. We accept direct payment from individuals and families. If you have a long-term care insurance policy, non-medical in-home care is often a covered benefit and we provide all documentation needed to support your reimbursement claim. We are happy to help you navigate your options during your free consultation.
Does Medicare or Medi-Cal cover in-home care?
Jane's Home Care does not bill Medicare or Medi-Cal. We are a private pay agency providing non-medical in-home care. However, if you have a long-term care insurance policy, your benefits may cover our services. Veterans and surviving spouses may also qualify for assistance through the VA Aid and Attendance program. We can help guide you through your options at no obligation.
How do you select and screen your caregivers?
Every caregiver at Jane's Home Care undergoes a thorough background check, is registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry, and is carefully interviewed before joining our team. We go beyond credentials — we match caregivers to clients based on personality, experience, availability, and the specific needs of your loved one. All caregivers work under the ongoing clinical oversight of our Nurse Practitioner founder.
Can i keep the same caregiver each visit?
Yes. Consistency is one of our core commitments. We work hard to match you with a caregiver who is a strong fit and we prioritize keeping that caregiver consistent across visits. Familiar faces build trust, especially for clients living with memory loss or cognitive changes. If your caregiver is ever unavailable, we notify you in advance and ensure a qualified substitute is in place.
What if my loved one’s care needs change over time?
Care plans at Jane's Home Care are designed to evolve. Whether your loved one needs more hours, additional services, or a different level of support, we adjust the care plan at any time with no penalties or long-term commitments. Our Nurse Practitioner founder conducts regular check-ins to proactively identify changes and keep your care plan aligned with your loved one's needs.
